These are NOT the best reasons why.
- Because they have to.
- You think you have the best product or service on the market.
- Forbes magazine thinks you have the best product or service on the market.
- Your Net Promoter Score is better than Apple’s.
- Your engineers are all from Ivy League schools.
- You have been in business long enough.
- The wall of your office is covered with hallowed credentials.
- Your balance sheet has never looked better (or worse.)
On the other hand ..
- Because you know their pain-point.
- They trust you to remove it.
Those are the only good reasons why.
